About the art dealer

AmstelArt Gallery is established in 2002 and is situated in a 16th century building
in the old centre of Heemstede. Owner GertJan Keizer builded his collection from 1970.
His interest initially went to Dutch impressionism, but the collection was soon expanded with work from other movements.

In resent years AmstelArt had several expositions of Armin and Olga Gasparian, Peter Keil, Louis Hartz, Hans Ittmann, Leonid Sologoup and Jan Sluijters jr.

The current collection consists mainly Western European paintings between 1870 and 1960.
Because of the location in Zuid-Kennemerland, artists from this region are also represented in the collection.
The collection has a wide range and is varied. Feel free to contact us or visit the gallery on friday or saturday.
