The style of Alexander Savin is a mixture of romanticism and realism, an impressionist with a keynote of stillness and indefinable nostalgia, a 'déja-vu feeling'.

Savin's work covers a wide range of subjects, from romantic landscapes to historical and deeply philosophical works. His paintings are filled with a characteristic atmosphere, full of movement, sparkling joy, but at the same time simple and original, understandable to everyone. Savin is a member of the Union of Russian Professional Artists, was awarded the highest distinction as an Honorable Painter of Russia in 2006.
