About the artist
Allin Walker was a Clockmaker from Amsterdam. He was employed around 1750 in Amsterdam and London. His workshop and business were located in the Kalverstraat (at the Spaarpotsteeg) in Amsterdam. He delivered clocks and watches to Copenhagen. Listed from 1738 to 1755 in Amsterdam. In 1775 the business was liquidated. He mainly worked during the first half of the 18th century and made multiple grandfather-clocks.
