Charles Nicolas Lemercier

Charles Nicolas Lemercier was born in France, in 1797. He was known as a printmaker, painter and draughtsman. Lemercier was a pupil of Regnault and Lethière, thus he is known to have received the same education as famous contemporary printmaker François Bouchot (1800–1842). Lemercier was specialized in landscapes. He passed away in 1859.
