About the artist
Erhard & Sohne, Schwäbisch Gmünd was founded in 1844 by Carl Gottlieb Erhard and his sons. They were specialized in handmade decorative (mostly jugendstil and art nouveau) art objects. After World War II they became supplier for the car industry. In 2011 they became a part of Magna Steyr.
