His minimalst, thin-blown crystal glass design was used for manufacturing by the Josephinenhütte in the ilesian Schreiberhau and his cut, thick-walled glass design can be associated with the Belgian Val St. Lambert. His designs for dinnerware were being put into production in Bohemia.

After an education at Val St. Lambert in Belgium and in Haida in Bohemia, Muller started to produce designs of his own hand. Throughout his life(1877-1943) Muller finished a number of 25 sets of dinnerware, as well as numerous vases and other standalone objects.

From 1905 until the year of his death Muller led his family business Glashuis Muller in Amsterdam, which was known to be involved in glass trading practices in Bohemia ever since the 18th century.

Muller advertised using the slogan: "No architects are involved with our firm and all our models are manufactured from own design, based on knowledge and years of experience."
