Johannes Cornelis de Bruyn

Johannes Cornelis de Bruyn was born in Utrecht in ca. 1802, he died in Utrecht on 6 October 1844. He was known for his floral still lifes. From 1827 onwards, he was honoured with several awards. He also painted landscapes with cattle. De Bruyn lived and worked in Utrecht for the greater part of his life.
