Trijnie Mohlmann

Trijnie Mohlmann (1954) is a Dutch artist, who lives and works in Groningen. She has a studio in Haren, near Groningen, in the Biotoop, a former centre for biological study of the University of Groningen. From 1987 to 1992 Mohlmann studied free painting and engraving at the Akademie voor Beeldende Kunst (Academy of Fine Arts) in Enschede. Since 1998, she also moulds massive glass objects and sculptures by means of sand casting. When creating paintings she uses mixed media. Trijnie Mohlmann has had several exhibitions in the Netherlands, including Galerie Ameri, Harderwijk (paintings and glass; group exhibition); Kunstuitleen Zwolle (glass objects); Galerie van Strien (paintings and glass objects), Nieuw Amsterdam (Emmen).
