In 1997, President Bill Clinton revealed a relief made by Verbon in memory of General Marshall during his visit to Rotterdam. After Verbon’s death in 2004, the permanent exhibition ‘Sterke Stad’ was opened on the Müllerpier, Rotterdam, containing work of Verbon and sculptures of artists admired by Verbon.
