Zaw Zaw Co was born in November 1984 in Maubin, a city in Myanmar's fertile Irrawaddy Delta. His childhood was spent amid the lush rice paddies and waterways that define the landscape. This natural environment, full of rhythm and seasonal changes, served as a source of inspiration that would later resonate in his art.

As a young talent, he discovered early on the power of drawing and painting to express feelings and ideas. At a time when access to the art world in Myanmar was limited, he forged his own path.
