- About the artworkThe clockwork of this longcase clock has an eight day going train with anchor escapement and a striking train with locking plate. The clock striks every hour and half hour on two bells. The clockwork has an alarm and moon and date indication. The gilt 12”-front has a silver-plated dial with roman numerals, and three gilt-brass hands.
The case of the clock is decorated with ‘seaweed’ marquetery.
