18th century
A sleeping putto, sitting on a rock, the head resting, supported by its right hand, the left hand holding a poppy, thus referring to the Allorgy of the Night.
From iconographical point of view this group was probably part of a pair, of which the pendant, i.e. the Allegory of the Day, was either lost or is now part of another collection.
