Russian so called ‘four field’ icon. These icons gave the patrons who ordered the icon the possibility to choose which feast and saints they would like to see on the icon. In the upper part The Mother of God of Feodorovsk, (the Christ child has one naked leg),
flanked at both sides by a Saint.
In the field beneath two Bishops Blasius and Medost, patron Saints of the cattle and SS.
Florus and Laurus at the right patrons of the horses.
On the polje of this icon two border Saints: at the left the Guardian Angel in his shiny white cloth.
