About the artwork

"I paint without a plan, and try to surprise myself in subject and execution. I am familiar with tradition and craftsmanship, but to do something new with it. For me there are three goals in a painting , the imagination of the subject - the picture - must match in color and shape. Secondly, "the paint skin" must be interesting, and actually tell another underground story and thirdly the person who is looking must have the feeling that there is more to discover in the painting, in meaning, references, associations, etc. "
