Li Zhu’s style can be called lively due to the contrasting colours he uses in his canvases, which allows him to convey emotions. His compositions are dynamic with a lot of movement while he has a minimalist approach. He leaves out many unnecessary details, whereby it seems as if the soft curves and splashes of the paint suggest the fragility and energy of blooming flowers. His abstract patterns in pastel colours create an almost dreamy, almost ethereal atmosphere as if you are looking through nature to nature.
His strong brushstrokes and contrasting colours in various works symbolise the strength and vitality of flowers in full bloom.
His works fit into a classic and modern interior and will let the viewer dream away and fantasise about a colourful, flowery and fragrant environment.
