Raymond Koop (1946) made a series of six episodes. He himself said: "When I make paintings with a lot of shape and color, a strong need for peace suddenly arises from within. I experience peace in blue skies with minimal clouds. When the sky is clear again, I experience it very directly Then it's good. It's a kind of peek into the afterlife. It's a counterpart to all my colorful work. It provides me with a good balance."
