Opleiding: Kunstgewerbeschulde, Krefeld en de Academie Libre, Parijs. Onderwerpen: landschap (als genre), abstractie, portret, stilleven, zelfportret. Lid van de Cercle d'art Les Independants.
- About the artistGerard van Eck (1901-1974) was a Dutch artist who made mostly paintings and watercolours. He lived most of his live in Paris and died there in 1974. He studied at the Kunstgewerbeschulde in Krefeld and the Académie Libre in Parijs.
He is known for his landscapes, abstract paintings, portraits, still lifes and self portraits. He was a member of the Cercle d'Art Les Indépendants.
