- About the artist
Mieke was born as a miller's daughter in an artistic family.
As a child she was already creative, but she chose to study at the social academy.
Later on she developed her artistic side.
She is now a passionate portrait painter and draftsman.
Because of her experience Mieke knows how to match the wishes and perception of the customer.
Her portraits are personal, colorful and always on spot.Education
- Academy of Fine Arts in Belgium.
- Lessons at the Wackersacademie Amsterdam.
- Masterclasses with, among others, Sam Drukker, Ben Lustenhouwer, Dinie Boogaart, Irma Braat.
