Jozef van der Horst (Voorburg, 30 May 1946) is a Dutch graphic artist who lives and works in The Hague. From 1963 to 1969 he studied graphic design at the Koninklijke Academie van Beeldende Kunsten in Den Haag. Van der Horst is specialised in plastic art and kinetic objects. He also creates paintings and drawings. His work is characterised by geometrical shapes, bold colours and light. He uses various materials including wood, formica, perspex, lead, gold leaf, stainless steel. Since 1972 he has been exhibiting at numerous galleries and museums. His work is included in the collection of Centrum Kunstlicht in de Kunst in Eindhoven.
