- About the artworkThis Art Nouveau hair comb is made and signed by the Masriera brothers. It is a tortoise hair comb with a gold applique, completely trimmed with enamel in various techniques. The performance shows a cloudy sky in plique-a-jour enamel, framed by ears of corn on one side within a frame set with rose diamonds and red-enamelled poppies on the other. The applique is beautifully engraved and signed Masriera Hermanos on the back. This comb can be found in their archives under number 1241.
