i was born in munich in 1987. i grew up in a cultural varied surrounding and was one of six children in a kind of commune, situated in the outback of munich.
i showed my excitement in realistic reproduction of forms and figures from the age of 12 and drawed a lot. sometimes i even had to get up at night and draw some of the things that had delighted me over the day.
after 13 years of Steiner school and the a-level in 2006 and a hotel education at Bayerischer Hof in munich i started my studies for autonome kunsten at ABK maastricht in 2010.
during this time i had a scholarschip for sommerakademie in homburg where i wenr into the process of handcrafted papermaking. this meditative work inspired me to deeper examination with water, rythm and time.
during my studies at abkm i worked on video performances and installations. in the first year i discovered the ink and water technique i started to paint with later.
i left the art academie 2013, went to ghant (B) and back to munich.
my interest in water as ground material - because its the basic material of life on earth - intensivated and is developping to new forms.and again and again i am driven my the inbetween, how we react, how we behave towards each other, how we speak with our bodies and how we tell without usind words.
its the space between us that we cannot see, nor can we put them in numbers or words. the space that we can only feel. that inspires us and keep us going.
nowadays i am living in sittard in the netherlands and sometimes on the countryside in the south of bavaria in a tiny cabin .
