About the artwork
The octagonal cuppa cut in Tief- and Hochschnitt with the arched relief panels engraved with the personifications of Justice and Fortuna amidst floral motifs, the lower section cut with extended facets over a reduced faceted stem on a conical reeded foot, the domed cover cut with relief panels engraved with stylised leaf scroll alternating with formal foliate patterns, below a faceted finial.
