  • About the artist

    Wilco Dragt was born in Eindhoven in 1960. He is a fine art landscape photographer. Wilco studied Business Administration from 1978 – 1985 at the Technical University of Eindhoven. As a photographer he is self-taught.

    In his fine art photos Wilco is often searching for moods and simplicity, keeping an eye out for detail and feeling for beauty. A recurring theme in his work is peace and tranquility, his photos named poetic at times. Dragt’s photos are not reflections of reality but interpretations of it in which he searches for hidden beauty and aesthetics. His photos are characterised by strong compositions.

    At several international and national competitions Wilco Dragt’s photos have been awarded prizes. Recently Wilco was incorporated in the book New Dutch Photography Talents 2014, a presentation of 100 Dutch photography talents.
