Mirian Jacobs is a Dutch visual artist. She works from a concept, in the playground between intuition and reason, through the use of various techniques. Searching for the world behind by studying nature, literature, history and philosophy, for patterns and connections. This inspiration results in her paintings and photograms. Jacobs used to work in marketing, started attending courses in painting, photography and art history, and discovered her passion. She graduated at the Academy of Fine Art and Design ArtEZ/AKI in Enschede and now works from her home-based studio as an autonomous artist.
