Reka Nyari is a photographer who was born in Finland in 1979. At the age of 17, she moved to New York to study painting at the School of Visual Arts. After graduating from school, she became a model and travelled to Asia and Europe. In this period her love for photography began and she launched her career as a photographer in 2004, after returning to New York. She creates erotic photography, artistic portraits, fashion photography and album cover art. Nyari has had numerous exhibitions in the United States and Europe. In 2010, she was awarded the first price on the International Photography Awards (IPA), category: professional beauty. Her work has been featured in numerous magazines, including Esquire, Vanity Fair, Tatler and Cosmopolitan. Nyari’s book titled “Femme Fatale: Female Erotic Photography” is translated into 6 languages and sold all over the world.
