Signed in green cachet: V.W. and TSB. - About the artistTheo Schmuz-Baudiß or Schmuz-Baudiss was a German sculptor, ceramist and Porcelain designer. Between 1902 and 1928 he worked for the Königlichen Porzellan-Manufaktur Berlin (KPM). In 1908 he became the artistic director of the KPM and remained this until his retirement in 1925. As a ceramist he is considered to be one of the leading figures in the Jugendstil era.
