Peter Struycken is a Dutch artist and colour expert. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, The Hague from 1957 to 1962. In 1964, he became a teacher at the Art Academy in Arnhem. In 1984, he was appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau. His work is non-figurative and multidisciplinary, using mixed media. His computer is an essential part of his work method. He designed computer-controlled lightning for various buildings, for example the music theatre in Amsterdam.
