Rensburg was born in The Hague in 1872.
He was an etcher, painter and illustrator in the Netherlands.
Rensburg worked from 1887 until 1956. He was educated on an evening course in Amsterdam and on the Academy of Arts in The Hague around 1890.
During his working period, Rensburg traveled through Europe and worked in several cities like Paris, Berlin, Vienna, Budapest, and amongst rivers like the Rhine, Danube and the Thames.
Rensburg's subjects differed from portraits, city views, topographical genres and historical genres.
Rensburg died in The Hague in 1956.
