- About the artworkThis winecooler is handraised in finesilver (999/000) the outside is polished, the inside matt finished. It holds two bottles. This design is executed in a small edition of maximum 8 pieces. But all of them are different in details. The basic idea is a winecooler holding two bottles where the base and top part are directing opposite directions.
- About the artist
Paul de Vries is a Dutch silversmith. He studied between 1978 and 1982 at the Technical College for Gold and Silversmithing at Schoonhoven.
From 1988 till 1993 at the Academy of Arts - Department product and interior Design (Utrecht, The Netherlands)
From 1995 he is specialized in 'big' silver objects. He finds his passion in creating these objects. His works are exhibited in several museums.
