- About the artist
François Bonnel is a French artist.
It was in 2018 that the artist decided to devote himself full time to his passion for painting and photography and to develop the artistic work that he had started twenty-five years earlier, in parallel with his profession of commercial executive in Advertising.
François Bonnel approaches his art spontaneously and explores various fields and techniques of creation. He’s not trying to get a message across. The curves and the frank and deep colors generate in him a soothing sensation. Above all, he paints for pleasure … like some people practice a sport or make music or … gastronomy. He likes the taste of simple things. He seeks to do good and if it pleases others, it’s better like that! .
Its flat areas of white acrylic paint are confronted with others in bright colors, allowing one to imagine the elements represented and their share of shade. They contrast with pastel (dry or oily) and with chalk lines that make their way often inspired by the music he listens to while working
