For those of you who love a good antique, this late 19th century bar brooch with a crescent moon and stars is set with rose-cut diamonds. The moon and stars were beloved subjects during the Victorian era and thus incorporated into jewellery in several variations. When worn as hair pieces, they were also often associated with the goddesses Diana and Luna, brightening up those dark winter nights.
