- Sobre el artistaFrans Langeveld (1877 - 1939) fue un pintor holandés nacido en Amsterdam que fue miembro de la Escuela Laren (segunda generación). Asistió a dos escuelas de arte diferentes en Amsterdam, después de lo cual vivió en Rotterdam, París, Munich, Blaricum y finalmente en Laren. En su mayoría representó paisajes, interiores y paisajes urbanos con figuras en un estilo tosco y robusto. Fue fuertemente influenciado por Jacob Maris. Murió en Laren en 1939.
