- About the artist
German artist Myriam Holme(1971) was born in Mannheim, where she currently lives and works as well. Her paintings can be seen as a exploration of unusual materials and mixed-media. Holme is passionate about different possibilities her materials and tools offer her, for example through focussing mainly on texture, specifically of metal and chemical reactions.
She has presented her work in exhibitions in Germany, France, England and the United States, but has acquired a special kind of fame in Germany through her Rudi Baerwind Award, because of a shared project with Philip Morlock named ‘Einraumhaus’
