The same statue of the same dimensions is exhibited in the Musee d'Art et d'Industrie "La Piscine" in Roubaix - About the artistFiot was born in Le Grand-Pressigny on January 22nd 1886. he was for a long time the pupil of Prosper Lecourtier. Fiot exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1910 till the outbreak of World War I in 1914. Most of the recorderd works by him consists mainly of birds, dogs , wild cats and other wild animals. His style is considered to be very modern in appearance by comparison to the other fellow artists in that period . Most of his works were casts by the Susse Frères foundry but some of his earlier bronzes were cast by other foundries.
