    Theodorus Willebrordus Maria (Theo) Mackaay é um escultor, pintor e músico holandês nascido em Utrecht em 19 de novembro de 1950. Entre 1972 e 1976 estudou na Gerrit Rietveld Academie em Amsterdã e de 1977 a 1979 foi para a Rijksacademie van Beeldende Kunsten em Amsterdã. Desde 1980 iniciou a sua carreira como pintor e escultor profissional. Seu trabalho figurativo é inspirado em Pablo Picasso, Marino Marini e Ossip Zadkine.

    Em 1980 desenhou o Gouden Kalf, escultura premiada no Festival de Cinema holandês. Mackaay teve várias exposições na Holanda e no exterior, incluindo Galerie Morren (Amsterdã, 2015), Carlton Hotel (Cannes, 2015), Amstel Hotel em Amsterdã (2016). Mackaay também é um músico que foi guitarrista e cantor em várias bandas.
