    Paul Walther (1876-1933) è stato uno scultore tedesco nato a Meissen. Dopo aver studiato per un periodo all'Accademia d'arte di Dresda, nel 1891 iniziò a lavorare in una fabbrica di porcellane a Meissen. Qui creò numerosi oggetti di animali. Fu uno dei modellisti più produttivi della fabbrica, producendo oltre 195 oggetti, tutti realizzati tra il 1904-1933. Paul Walther fu anche membro del Dresdner Künstlergruppe nel 1913.
