Hetty Heyster

Hetty Heyster is known as a contemporary Dutch female sculptor. Heyster was born in 1943, on March 17. She produces free work, as well as commissioned works. Her oeuvre mostly consists of bronze sculptures of animals, some of which can be found on display when visiting the Amsterdam zoo of Artis. She finds the authenticity and diversity of animals to often be the motives and first impulses in her sculptural practices.
