Wil Fruytier

Wil Fruytier (1915, Deventer – 2007, Amsterdam), full name Wil Fruytier-van der Lande, was a Dutch autodidactic textile artist, sculptor and monumental artist, who worked and lived in Amsterdam and Ouderkerk aan de Amstel. She was active as an artist from 1930 to 2000. She began making tapestries in 1957. She exhibited patchwork at the Venice Biennial 1961. Her work is included in the art collections of among others Delta Lloyd Amsterdam, TU Eindhoven, and Bouwfonds.
