- Over kunstenaarChristina de Vos (1965) draws and paints human figures and tells of human desires and shortcomings. Her paintings are more and more being supported by collages, in which she uses stacks of painted and nested pieces of cloth. Her recent paintings are part of a growing series of saints. Christina de Vos studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam (1982-1987), among others with Klaas Gubbels. She regularly has exhibitions. In collaboration with Jeroen Brouwers Christina made the art book Aurora (TAB publisher, 2012).
