Amsterdam has become famous for its Golden Age during the 17th century. This prosperity is still reflected in the canals, the warehouses and the rich canal houses. Besides the economic prosperity there was also a cultural boom. Today the most famous artworks of that time are displayed in the Rijksmuseum. And nowadays Amsterdam also offers a wide variety of galleries, art shops and antique dealers where you can buy the most beautiful art and antiques. In this article, we will present you a selection of galleries and art shops in Amsterdam where you can view and buy the most beautiful art.
