- Sobre la obra de arteGerard (Geurt) van Eck, 1901 - 1974, schilder, aquarellist, Nederlander, maar woonde en werkte een groot deel van zijn leven in Parijs, overleed daar ook. Opleiding: Kunstgewerbeschulde, Krefeld en de Academie Libre, Parijs. Onderwerpen: landschap (als genre), abstractie, portret, stilleven, zelfportret. Lid van de Cercle d'art Les Independants.
- Sobre el artistaGerard van Eck (1901-1974) fue un artista holandés que realizó principalmente pinturas y acuarelas. Vivió la mayor parte de su vida en París y murió allí en 1974. Estudió en la Kunstgewerbeschulde de Krefeld y en la Académie Libre de Parijs. Es conocido por sus paisajes, pinturas abstractas, retratos, naturalezas muertas y autorretratos. Fue miembro del Cercle d'Art Les Indépendants.
