After a simultaneous career as an actor and ceramicist, he decided 10 years ago to focus solely on artistic oil painting.

He attended an academy in Antwerp, paints (Hyper)realistic canvases often with characters: children, women, himself, often with a touch of surrealism.

Inspiring photo sessions with models are an important part of his working method.
A masterclass with Omar Ortiz (Mexico) was in line with his preference for painting skin and draped fabrics. He strives for the absolute representation of the visible, albeit sometimes with a joke.

He took part in several exhibitions and competitions with prizes or nominations in Spain (MEAM), Los Angeles, Miami (US), The Hague (N), Brussels (Bozar, Koninklijke Serres) etc.

He lives and works in Wilrijk.
