About the artist
Hein Dekker was a Dutch painter, watercolourist, draftsman, engraver, lithographer and reproduction graphic artist. He studied at the State Academy of Art in Amsterdam, the city where he also worked.
Dekker was a student of Johann Wilhelm Kaiser and Charles Rochussen, among others. He was a member of the Pulchri Studio (The Hague) and of Arti en Amicitiae (Amsterdam).
