Yahya Gaber Youssef è nato al Cairo nel 1939. Ha studiato alla Kunstgewerbe Schule di Aquisgrana, in Germania e dal 1969 vive e lavora ad Amsterdam. Dipinge nel moderno stile geometrico astratto e ha avuto molte mostre personali e collettive.
