The secretaire à abbatant with slightly curved legs and white marble top. Stamped below marble Saunier.
Claude-Charles Saunier (1735-1807) was a leading Parisian ébéniste of the late-eighteenth century and supplied furniture to leading buyers and collectors as well as the marchand-mercier Dominique Daguerre.
