Douglass McDougall is a Scottish artist, based in London. He works with various kinds of charcoal, using sandpaper, blades, scalpels and sharply cut erasers to create very detailed, photo-realistic black-and-white portraits. His portraits are so realistic that it is almost like they are black and white photographs. He mainly makes portraits of his close friends.
