Nato nel 1965 a Purmerend, vive e lavora a Heerhugowaard, nella provincia dell'Olanda Settentrionale.
Patrick si è laureato alla Royal Academy of Art (KABK) dell'Aia, vincendo anche il Primo Premio Winsor & Newton e il Secondo Premio Caran d'Ache.
Da allora ha esposto nei Paesi Bassi e all'estero. Sviluppando il suo stile unico nel corso degli anni, i lavori recenti di Patrick sono versioni 3D di paesaggi fluttuanti su vecchi piatti di porcellana, che lui chiama sculture paesaggistiche, spesso utilizzando gli alberi bonsai come base strutturale per i suoi tableaux drammatici, misteriosi e giocosi.
Molte delle sue opere fanno parte di prestigiose collezioni private in Europa, Corea del Sud e Stati Uniti.
