    Heather Nevay è nata a Glasgow, Scozia, il 13 gennaio 1965.

    Ha studiato alla Glasgow School of Art e si è laureata con una laurea in Arte e Design (Tessuti stampati) nel 1988.

    È membro del Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts.

    Heather ha esposto regolarmente alla Compass Gallery e alla Cyril Gerber Fine Art di Glasgow e alla Portal Gallery di Londra.

    Heather ha anche esposto molte volte in importanti mostre miste alla Royal Academy, alla Royal Scottish Academy, alla Society of Scottish Artists, al Royal Glasgow Institute e alle fiere d'arte di Londra e Glasgow.

    Heather usa il simbolismo per esprimere idee di eroismo, debolezza, paura e il mutevole equilibrio delle relazioni umane. I suoi dipinti sono per lo più figurativi e il colore è un elemento importante del suo lavoro.
