- Over kunstwerk23-cm square brass dial with applied silvered engraved chapter ring with Roman numerals and signed J. Hasius Amsterdam. The shaped and pierced hands are made of blued steel and the alarm disc of silvered engraved brass. In the corners are cast brass mask spandrels. There is a date aperture with foliate engraved surround in the matted centre.
The plated movement is driven by a weight with endless rope suspension and needs to be pulled up once a day. It is regulated by verge escapement in combination with short fixed pendulum. The movement strikes the hours fully and once on the half hours on a bell with countwheel. The alarm also strikes is on a bell.
The walnut case is surmounted by three brass finials. The hood has fine moulding and glass panels on the front and sides.
