  • Over kunstwerk
    The village Kill Devil Hills in North Carolina is what inspires this painting. Kerry Horne grew up in the area and he used to enjoy beautiful summers on the coast.
    Now based in Amsterdam, with a nostalgic look to the past but his present playful brushstrokes and colourful abstractions, Kerry remembers the good old days under the sun.

  • Over kunstenaar

    Kerry’s opleiding was multidisciplinair volgens de onderwijsprincipes van het Bauhaus (de fundamentele opleiding vond plaats in een Design School die rechtstreeks afstamde van het Black Mountain College, die begon toen het Bauhaus in Duitsland gedwongen werd te sluiten).

    Hij heeft professioneel geoefend in alle drie de disciplines kunst, design en architectuur. Vaak als liaison tussen deze disciplines.
    Hij heeft gewoond en gewerkt in Raleigh, Los Angeles, Londen, Berlijn en momenteel in Amsterdam.

    Projecten op deze locaties, naast Parijs, New York, Riyadh en andere bijzondere plekken.

    Zijn schilderijen zijn over de hele wereld verspreid in diverse bedrijfs- en privécollecties.
